KIWITEA CHAMPIONSHIP
and the postponed
SOUTHERN HAWKES BAY CHAMPIONSHIPS

Saturday 3rd and 4th March 2012 at the
Cheltenham Rifle Range

 Shooting starts 9am sharp both days
Entry fees $70 for both days or $40 for one day only.

Saturday 3rd March, Kiwitea Championships:

Match 1  -  Paki-Rewa (Smithers) Cup  - 300yds. Holder Mitch Maxberry.
Match 2  -  Apiti Cup - 500yds - Holder Steve Muschamp.
Match 3  -  Cheltenham Match ( McCorkindale Cup) - 600yds. Holder Mitch Maxberry.
Match 4  -  Kimbolton Aggregate. Aggregate of matches 1 and 3. Holder Jonno Phillips.
Match 5  -  Concurrent teams Match, Target Rifle, Stevenson Cup. Aggregate of Matches 1,2 & 3. Entries must be in before start of match 2. Four club members. Composite teams welcome but ineligible for trophy.

Match 6  -  F Class Champion. Aggregate of matches 1, 2 & 3. Holder A. Lundberg.
Match 7  -   Kiwitea Graded Championship. Aggregate of matches 1, 2 & 3.

Overnight camping welcome with a hangi on Saturday afternoon. The bar will be open after shooting finished for the day. Food and drinks will be available both days with a BBQ operating from midday - sausages and hamburgers $1.50 or BYO!

The small print:

  1. All Matches are open to NRA affiliated shooters and will be fired under NRA rules, unless stated otherwise.

  2. Only ammunition as approved by NRA to be used.  Competitors to supply their own.

  3. Entry Fee is Honours only of $70 for both days, $40 for one day, all grades (inc NRA levies)

  4. Matches 1-3 are 10 counting shots with 2 convertible sighters.

  5. The final shall be the highest 6 aggregate scores (Target class) and consist of 7 counting shots with 2 convertible sighters.

  6. Grading is based on latest NRA grading list. Shooters may enter in a higher grade.

  7. In the event of the shoot being not attended, entries will be refunded.

  8. Time Limit of 14 mins at all ranges will be enforced.

  9. Number of prizes and badges to be presented will be at the discretion of the organising committee.

  10. For the purposes of the team shoot the shooters club is the one that they are affiliated to NRA through.

  11. Tyro is defined as per the NRA definition.

  12. All disputes will be referred to the range committee. 

  13. Entries for the teams' event must be received before the start of shooting at 500 yds.

  14. Centrals shall be scored as a V for FTR and F-class shooters to have a possible maximum of 50.10.
