Te Puke Champs Two Day Meeting October 2012

Saturday 300 yards, light winds coming from the sea most of the morning. 600 yards stronger winds off the sea picking up and dropping off enough to catch you out if you weren't watching the flags.   Sunday 500 yards light fishtailing winds down range. 600 yards wind direction changed and came from the right picking up and dropping off with strong gusts. After lunch we had wind coming from the sea with strong to light gusts. Some relays had it better patches than others.

The beautiful Bay of Plenty put on a perfect spring weekend, blue sky and sunshine. Everyone seemed to have a great relaxing time and it was good to see everyone supporting the Te Puke open meeting, but especially Malcolm and the Wellington gang.
